Our ultimate vision for the Village of CLA is transcendent and transformational. Created during a time of significant upheaval and enormous demand for resources and services, The Village is a testament to the resilience, partnership, love and hope needed to meet the most critical needs in our communities, and transform the future for generations to come. Through strong community partnerships and relationships, and a priority to eliminate barriers and historical inequalities, The Village provides the resources, services and opportunities most sought by our students and families during their journey to achieve life goals, heal from losses, traumatic events and unmet mental health needs, and build a bright future.
Our Vision – Mission Statement
The Village at Contemporary Learning Academy and various organizations provide strong wraparound services within six pathways high schools to meet the needs of current and former students, as well as their families. Our staff will support them in increasing self sufficiency, achieving stability, and growing toward their life goals. We strongly believe that it is important to continue supportive services to our students as they transition through the most difficult steps into adulthood. Our team will assist students, graduates and young adults in meeting critical needs through ongoing case management to facilitate access to critical services with The Village including mental health and substance misuse therapeutic services, violence prevention and intervention services, The Village food market and Success Suits You, a clothing closet with hygiene essentials. All of our services are free of charge.
The Village Supports
The Village Community Engagement Specialist welcomes each person into The Village as well as supporting participants in accessing the Village Market and the Success Suits You clothing boutique.
The Village Market is a no cost grocery store sponsored by Food for Thought and Fresh Guys who provide fruits, vegetables, meat and much more!
